WETA Sustainability and Innovation Fund

The Fund will support and advance our mission and keep WETA at the forefront of public media in history, education, the arts, and news. The Sustainability and Innovation Fund areas of support include:

• Arts, Culture and History: Provide arts, history and cultural content that allows us to be a window to the world in homes across the nation.

• Education and Children’s Programming: Ensure that WETA remains an educational resource and a safe, non-commercial television environment for children.

• Digital Future: Meet our current and future audiences where they are consuming content. Technology and the proliferation of information sharing platforms is ever changing.

• Journalism Excellence: Continue to provide substantive, thoughtful journalism to help make sense of our world, enrich public discourse and foster citizen engagement.
